Fix for MacBook Air M1/M2 — ‘Bad CPU type in executable’ Error by install Rosetta 2.

Installing Rosetta 2.

  • Installation Method 1: via the GUI just going to /System/Library/CoreServices and double-clicking in Rosetta 2 Updater. Now, simply click Install, and you are good to go.

  • Installation Method 2: The terminal Execute the following command in the terminal:

/usr/sbin/softwareupdate --install-rosetta --agree-to-license

To uncheck this box, right-click on the “Terminal” app or “iTerm 2” app in your Dock or in your Applications folder and select Get Info. And then uncheck the box Open using Rosetta.
